St John of the Ladder Parish Church located in Greenville, SC celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony on the 4th Sunday of Great Lent in preparation for construction on a new Church temple which, God-willing, may begin this year.  The service of blessing was celebrated in the early evening-time followed by a pleasant reception on the new property.  In attendance were multiple clergy of the Carolina Deanery; in addition the service was concelebrated by Archimandrite Gerasim (Eliel) of St Seraphim's Cathedral in Dallas, TX; and many faithful of the parish (as well as friends and neighbors) gathered in prayer for the mercies of God on this effort.  Information on the Church's project can be found here.
